at Seneca Poker’s oCTOBER pOKERfEST 2009
Samuel Astorino won $16,479 at the October PokerFest held October 17-18 at Seneca Gaming & Entertainment’s Poker Room at Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel in Niagara Falls, NY. H. Barry Trembetzky from Toronto, Ontario, took second place winning $9,728.
Of the 97 participants, eleven were paid out from the $46,560 prize pool. The final table of ten and the prize payouts are listed below.

The October PokerFest schedule began on Friday, October 9 and included 12 events over the course of ten days. The buy-in for the Main Event was $500+40 for $14,500 in tournament chips.
Seneca Gaming and Entertainment has four Class II Gaming facilities in Western New York. Locations include Irving, Niagara Falls and two in Salamanca. Poker Rooms are located within both Seneca Allegany Casino and Seneca Niagara Casino. Seneca Gaming and Entertainment is owned and operated by the Seneca Nation of Indians.
